03.Travel to Lima

12.0467° S, 77.0431° W

If you’re traveling to Peru for the wedding — welcome! We’re so happy to have you. Lima is a vibrant coastal city with so much to explore.

The main airport is Jorge Chávez International (LIM), located about 45 minutes from most central neighborhoods. We recommend staying in either Barranco — artistic, bohemian, and perfect for walking (we live here!) — or Miraflores, which is safe, central, and close to the ocean.

Need help deciding where to stay? Feel free to reach out  — we’re happy to help you find the right spot.

04.Recs & Things to do

Some of our favorites...

There’s so much to love about Lima; we hope you’ll have time to enjoy a little while you’re here.

From sunset walks along the cliffs of Barranco to coffee at Demo or Cosmo, a relaxed drink at Cordial, and dinner spots like Siete or Mérito — the city is full of places we like. Add to that fresh ceviche at La Perlita, a pizza slice at Indio, and perhaps a refined bite at El Rafael

Wander through art galleries and design/crafts shops tucked into the streets of Barranco — like Las Pallas and Puna — and don’t miss Museo Larco, one of the city’s most beautiful museums, with an extraordinary pre-Columbian art collection.
